Self Employed Plant Operator/Groundworker
Scott Rushworth has worked in Construction for 8 years, with the last 5 years including working as a Plant Operator and Groundworker.
Scott enjoys working outside and the team working on site, he has passed a National Vocational Qualification in Plant Operations at Level 2. He uses both Forward Tipping Dumper and a Ride on Roller and achieved competence in both pieces of plant.
The qualification allows Scott to apply for a CPCS Blue Competent Worker Card and this will help to secure future work opportunities. On completion of this qualification, he has decided to also work towards a qualification in Construction Operations (Groundworks) which will ensure he has the opportunity to work onsite as a groundworker when there are no openings for Plant Operators.
